
Glasgow 2026 | Recruitment and Onboarding Manager
We have a unique and exciting opportunity available to join the team!
We are seeking an experienced recruitment specialist to join the Glasgow 2026 team as our Recruitment and Onboarding Manager.
The Recruitment and Onboarding Manager will be responsible for leading the recruitment strategy for the OC ensuring the recruitment of a diverse, skilled workforce essential for the successful execution of the Games. Reporting to the Head of People, the postholder will oversee and manage the recruitment function, drive the full cycle hiring process for a wide range of roles across the OC. You will work closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, build effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless, positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. The postholder will also be responsible for managing the entire onboarding process for new hires to the OC ensuring a seamless and compliant experience.
The Recruitment and Onboarding Manager will work collaboratively across all functional areas of the Organising Company to ensure the Games’ staffing needs are met efficiently while creating a positive and inclusive working environment.
Education:
The Recruitment and Onboarding Manager should have 5 plus years’ experience, in this area, holding a tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
Key Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a Recruitment and Onboarding Manager who has proven experience in leading and delivering a recruitment and onboarding strategy which ensures all hiring goals and allocated timeframes are met. The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational skills with a record of delivering high volume recruitment in a set time frame.
The postholder should have experience in delivering effective onboarding strategies which are compliant with legislation, have a passion for creating and building a strong employer brand through various initiatives. Familiarity with employment law and equal opportunity hiring practices is required.
